IHM Football Academy are very proud to announce that three of the full-time squad will get excellent opportunities to show case their skills this week.

Marcell, a talented goalkeeper aged 17 years, from Hungary, impressed Paul MacGuire whilst playing for Manchester Central FC. Paul is the manager of League Two club, Macclesfield Town FC reserves and has asked Marcell to play tonight when the team take on Premier League club Burnley reserves. Marcell has already featured for Macclesfield Town and played well. This is a great chance for Marcell to shine and secure a longer term place with the squad.

Unaiz, aged 16 years from Kenya, has also been enrolled full-time at IHM Football Academy and has impressed the Radcliffe Borough coaches and manager whilst playing friendly matches for the IHM team. On thursday this week Unaiz will get a chance to shine when he trials with the Northern Premier League Division One North club. Unaiz is a prolific striker and scored a hat rick last week in a notable 5-1 victory against local rivals, MIFA.

Finally, Unaizah, Unaiz’s twin sister, also her chance to show her mettle. Unaizah currently plays for Bury FC Boys, Girls & Women u18s, and has recently been invited to train with the Senior First team.

“Unaizah has been invited to train with our senior First Team to see how she fits at a higher level. We will continue to aid her development to ensure she can reach her full potential.” said Diana, Chair of the club.
