Player of The Month – January 2024
Alex Tang
As the new term and year starts at IHM Football Academy, it’s Alex Tang who has stood out in a very competitive month for the player of the month award.
Alex joined the IHM Football Academy in Manchester back in September, right at the start of this season. Since joining the programme Alex has worked extremely hard in every aspect of the programme, showing his own commitment to improvement and development.
A naturally gifted midfield player Alex has been a regular in the first team starting eleven so far this campaign. He has a wonderful first touch, keeping calm on the ball in games. This, combined with his great range of passing and vision, has meant he has secured that spot in the first team for all the games so far.
Alex continues to go from strength to strength on the programme and with 5 months of the season still left to go, he has a promising future ahead of him, if he can continue his progress.
