With Pro Elite sitting just below IHM in the league table, this match always had the potential to be
difficult. However, IHM delivered a storming performance, coming away 5-0 victors!
Head Coach, Sam enthused:
“We played some brilliant football. Nice and fluid. We really stretched the play so the boys could
play through the middle.”
The incredibly strong IHM central midfield made the difference. And the first IHM goal went in
early, claimed by Rahmi, which added up to a wonderful debut for him. The next goal was slotted in
very capably and confidently by Amir. Next up on the scoresheet was Derick, taking the game to 3-
0. Amir later took a further two goals giving him a hat trick!
This result was further enhanced by being IHM Football Academy team’s first clean sheet of the
season. Vittorio and Ryan played a half each and their distribution of the ball was first class.
“The boys’ attitude was great today. A good game overall. A solid performance for us there. That
takes us to 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses so far this season.”
Exclaimed Head Coach, Sam.
Player of the Match was clearly young Alex Tang, who got himself two assists and ran the show
from the centre of the park.
