Guest coach – Roberto Navaja

This term we were honoured to have world class goalkeeping coach Roberto Navaja visit the IHM Football Academy. Roberto visited the academy thanks to his long-time friend and Edukick founder/owner Joey Bilotta.
Joey & Roberto were team mates back in their playing days and have both forged a career to stay in the football business, Roberto coaching and now with his new online goalkeeping app Zerogavity, and Joey with Edukick Inc, sending players around the world for football and Education.
Roberto & Joey offered up their expertise when they visited by hosting a guest speaker session together for all our academy players.
Roberto then took to the field to coach our goalkeepers, passing on his experience and expertise to our young developing players.
Roberto offers up a wealth of experience in the field, with a playing career that lists a number of top clubs including Real Sociedad and El Valencia. Roberto has coached many of the top goalkeepers, some of whom represented their country at the recent world cup in Russia.
Roberto hopes to stay close to the academy here in the UK now, offering our current players free access to his new online App to guide them as they progress.
