IHM 2 – 2 MIFA
Match report:
IHM Academy faced off against MIFA last Friday, playing well in parts but ultimately coming away without the win.
In a quiet opening to the game, the team struggled to create good chances and the game swung in Mifa’s favour towards the end of the first half-time,with a well taken set play from a free kick.
IHM´s attacking play quickened as the team went in search of an equaliser and they came close to providing a good response with Thomas More, only for him to be denied by the crossbar.
After the break, the second half followed a similar pattern with MIFA scoring again despite some fine saves by Marcell Monori. The team fought throughout but spurned good chances throughout the second half. Next up is semi professional Macclesfield Town on Monday and League 1 opponents Fleetwood Town FC, in which the players hope their hard work will pay off.
