IHM Football Academy are proud to announce the achievements of three young players.

17 year old IH Manchester goalkeeper, Marcell, recently held his own whilst trialling with Macclesfield Town FC Reserves. Marcell, who is already playing regularly for Manchester League club, Manchester Central FC, made some brave saves during his last appearance. Marcell is really getting noticed of late and has had a very encouraging first term at IHM Football Academy. “Since his arrival at IHM in September, Marcell has shown great maturity and character. Just what clubs are looking for in a player.” stated IHM Director, Peter Hayes.

Unaiz from Kenya, also age 17, was recently spotted by Radcliffe Borough FC manager, Jon Macken. Unaiz was able to impress Jon who was watching when he scored a hat trick in a recent friendly match against a visiting Australian club. Jon, ex-Manchester City and Preston North End, is an IHM FA coach and has asked Unaiz to trial with Radcliffe. We all wish him well and feel sure that he will impress. “Unaiz’s atitude is 100% positive and this is just one factor that sets him apart.” remarked IHM Director of Football, Michael Brennan. Radcliffe Borough play in the Northern Premier League Division One North.

William, aged 17 years, has been with IHM since July and is by now starting to make his mark. He has impressed whilst training with Lancaster City FC (Northern Premier League Premier Division) and now the club are taking steps to seal the partnership.

“At IHM we are constantly putting our young players in front of the right people to give them that valuable first pro club trial. With Head Coach Matt running a tight ship, all of our players are well-prepared to excel and step up and grab these opportunities.” added Brennan with pride.
